palatov dp4 at laguna seca

dp4 at laguna seca raceway. still sorting through some setup issues but the car shows a lot of promise. the big muffler got us close to passing sound at 94.5 db (92 db max) so we had to cruise at part-throttle on the uphill section. the car is a lot of fun! :)

seems to me this car would be killer at auto-x, any chance you guys are going to take it to one and see how it does?

@macexl we don't have any current plans for a/x since our focus is on track testing at the moment. the wheelbase is too short for SCCA A-mod but over the winter we are planning to petition for a rule change. it can definitely run at local/regional events. we'll probably do some hiilclimbs with it soon.

@jackobcooper i was wondering when someone would notice :) the wheel is not bolted on, it's a quick release and it was put on straight in the pits but the wheels were turned so it ended up 120 degrees off. we didn't get a chance to fix that before he went out. being a true professional, Jonathan didn't let a small thing like that slow him down!

DP.... Wish I could have been there man. I was working on our race car all weekend, but would have loved to see the dp1e and dp4 running at Laguna. Truly momentous occasion!
