Turpin High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, created a project with a goal to change the world, in response to multiple pieces of holocaust literature. Their final project was a transformation, or metamorphosis of hateful images of the holocaust to beautiful butterflies. Each butterfly holds on it a signature of a student, by signing the butterfly the student pledges to be a nicer person. At the end of the project the butterflies were sent to the Holocaust Museum in Texas to be a part of a bigger collection of butterflies.

  • Excellent project. We need to remember to understand and prevent. Congrats to the teacher and her students.

  • What a cool video! It's so important to share these lessons with kids. That's why we created Six Million for Six Million.

  • What a wonderful update on this project! Knowledge is power and these students are now in possession of the only tool to ever change the world. Awareness. Thank you for sharing.
