    I remember recording this when it was on around 1985,I loved this movie and was upset when I got recorded over.I have been looking for a copy for years now.I was so hoping this was the whole movie,but I'm happy so see this much of it again,Thanks for posting.

    i also would like to see this again. they aired it once in about 1985. i've never been able to see it since. the very fact that it's on beta says a lot. it's been a while.

    Robert Young was 70, Jane Wyatt 67, Elinor Donahue 40, Billy Gray 39 and Lauren Chapin 32. That would mean Young and Wyatt were 30 and 27 when they had their first child.

    They were all just a little too old for their roles. But it was still a great show.

    Ahhh, always get warm and fuzzy watching a Christmas special where the trees are in full bloom, covered in fake snow, the sky is bright blue, the sun is summertime intense, and it's clear that it was made on the backlot set in Burbank California in July.
