    Really fine, extremely dry sand acts like a fluid. This video looks legitimate with the observations that I've made at the Univ of Illinois.

  • hi mikekearn. I don't think it's filmed in a evacuated environment. See at 0:19 where the particles don't fall down with the same acceleration. In a vacuum, every matter accelerate with the same speed under equal gravitation conditions in direction to the local gravitation center. the Apollo 11 Crew executed this experiment on the surface of moon for brodcast on TV. From 0:19 you can see particles remains like dust. That's why i think it's filmed in a gas medium.
