@Brythonic1 The Welsh andthe Irish have never worn Kilts. The welsh and Irish kilt dates backl to the latter half of the 20th century, it isa recent invention. The Celts did not wearkilts they wore trousers.

I'm a Texan, and I know for a fact that I'm 50% McDonald of the Isles. I have (one of) my clan's tartans. I enjoy wearing my kilt, and knowing that I'm representing my family and our heritage makes it worth getting funny looks and parents ushering their children away from me.

I think it's really funny that I spent all of one day in Glasgow on a trip in 2005 and I knew exactly the corner where this video was shot! Isn't that the back of the 'Glasgow School of Art' at one point? LOL!!! (I did purcahse a kilt while in Scotland, but I bought it in a tourist shop in Edinburgh,)

it's really quite pathetic and ye are-as highlandboy1337 said-bringing a bad name to scotland.
kilts are comfier than jeans, so why not wear them? really need to open yer mind a wee bit, and it's not a great idea to generalise cultures too just beacuse someone wears a kilt doesn't mean they think they're scottish.
