Look! I was able to make a video in between the masses of meps I've been working on. Okay, truthfully this is an old video given the revamped treatment, new scenes, effects, transitions etc, but if you did remember the old one, the quality was not the best plus cause of copyrights it was taken down and thanks to pitching, I had hopes it could be remade and ta da! Here it is!
First off, I want to thank one of my good friends Natalie {BriseisKenobi} for her help in pitching the song. It was after seeing her Obidala clone wars video that I thought it may perhaps work this time so thank you so much Natalie!
Now, onto the video, it's an old video {originally uploaded in December 2008} and it's an Obi Wan and Anakin pairing {not a slash video} It's a brother/friendship video but there is a touch of Anakin and Padme in there which was a completely new idea for this revamp.
On a side note: this is one of four videos of mine {yes I've had another idea} that will be uploaded over the coming weeks, all different and slotted in between meps
Key:
The Gray scenes are the Intro, Anakin's capture and Obi Wan fears about what could be happening or will happen to his brother
The Sepia scenes are Obi Wan's and Padme's memories of Anakin
Storyline
Anakin and Obi Wan are caught in the middle of a Separatist attack by General Grievous. His ship looms ahead and Anakin gets reckless and flies straight for it only to be caught in an explosion and doesn't reemerge. Obi Wan is shocked and stunned. The clones think he is dead. Everyone believes no one, not even Anakin could have survived the explosion. Obi Wan goes to Padme who is crushed, devasted feeling like she's lost the man she loves however Obi Wan doesn't want to believe Anakin is dead, because he can still feel him out there. Obi Wan feels lost, knowing he should be looking for him and when he tries to confide with the Jedi Council, they don't believe Anakin is alive and insist that Obi Wan moves on.
Obi Wan can't with all his memories of him. He confides in Padme who tries to believe Anakin is alive but with no call from him it's hard.
Anakin is alive but he has been captured by Grievous on his way to Count Dooku. Obi Wan fears for his friend's life and needs to find him before it's too late. He keeps having nightmares of Anakin falling to the dark side. He keeps telling Padme he WILL find Anakin and needs her help. This only causes Padme to become frustrated, telling him it's pointless then Obi Wan points out that if she were in Anakin's position, he wouldn't give up on her.
Obi Wan continues searching attacking numerous Separatist ships with no luck until then a vision comes to him. Anakin, on a volcanic planet {Mustafar} dying in the lava. Obi Wan races to Padme telling her that he knows where Anakin is and he's going to go find and bring him home, Padme wants to believe him but wonders if he's too late. Obi Wan assures that he won't be and he'll be back with Anakin before leaving. Padme watches him leave where she has her own memory of Anakin. Their wedding day hoping her friend will bring her husband back home.
Obi Wan arrives on Mustafar, where he takes down a legion of battle droids before he finds Count Dooku in the control room. He fights him before he kills him. Anakin and Obi Wan, friends/brothers are once more reunited together with Anakin telling him that he knew he wouldn't give up on him and Obi Wan assuring him that he is his brother and he would never give up on him

wow, this just made my heart so hapy, and sad at the same time..really loved it. great story line! I loved it, so very creative it gave me chills thinking about it. I almost wish ROTS had ended this way...very lovely! great job Lauren!

So here I amto comment, and in total awe <3 <3 ...you can never express too much love for SW & WT together!!! so epic!!
And I love the story you've created here for our Jedi brothers! Looks like something Obi would totally do for Anakin, he would never give up on him no matter what *.* I really loved the scene where he's arguing with Windu in the Council room, and then he remembers when Ani was there too. And like Jessica said, the soft transitions really help the feeling of the video <3

EEEEE!! This is freakin BOMB!!!! Gosh, this makes me realize how much I miss MEPs, and the fact that I truly miss editing with the original films. GAH! But anyway, I LOVE the song! It's perfect for this video, WT is so amazing. The editing is brilliant! I like the softness too it and the slow zooms. The storyline? Well, it's just perfect!
