Russell Ingall seemingly forgets to change down gears until the very last moment in the midst of this passing attempt on Will Davison. Just love the quick downshifts when he suddenly arrives at the first corner, and realises that he's still in sixth gear!

  • That must be his masturbating hand... LOL

  • love aussie V8's

  • I swear that at 0:10 the video fast-forwards for a split second!

  • @tapion123 all cars should have them

  • sequential tranny

  • @Chvija1986 Yeah no problem i noticed some silly comments so thought clear things up. Also i noticed he did lock the rears for a split second then let the brake off to make the downshifts. Was a smart move that gave stability and rpm's for downshifting without clutch. Have a look again and you will notice when hits the brakes a little to heavy the ass end steps out to the left for a sec. Then the correction(Less brake) directly followed by downshifts. Some good driven tho

  • @fpvshitsonhsv thank you for this comment, its nice to read something smart and learn something!

  • baaaaaa, mmmmmmmmm, brap, brap ,brap, brap, brap

  • You cant shift in a V8 supper car when the rears are locked, unless you use the clutch. It is obvious he hadnt locked them during the downshifting as the shifts were way to fast for using clutch. V8 supper cars need a certain amount of revs until can be shifted otherwise it wont let you shift. You must make all down shifts before exiting the corner otherwise you loose exit speed.

  • @HSVLVR I don't say I need to go sideways, I said it is rather strange not to loose stability if rear is locked. I bloody know that V8 racing car is not FWD, I was saing in general that you do downshift always in FWD. Also you can downshift with rear locked in RWD if you use the cluth. I'm not familiar with this racing sequential but i guess it must have turned into neutral when rear was locked and that is why you say that he cannot downshift.
