Interview by Ty Wilson with veteran left BK amputee cyclist Ozzy Reyes. This is a video for amputees interested in cycling. While Ozzy is an advanced cyclist, this video concentrates on the basics. Subjects covered are using clipless pedals for strapping your prosthetic foot down, clipping in/out, starting off and stopping.
GO OZZY!

So I went back to flat pedals with meaty traction (Triple Trap). This works well for most situations but when I hit a jump or a big obstacle I have a hard time landing on the pedals. I have been weary of the clip-less pedals after the spill but after seeing this I am defiantly going to try them out. Thanks again and if you get a chance check out my video. This is great Ozzy, Thanks for the tips. I am a bilateral BK and an avid rider. Thanks for putting this video up. I have been having a hard time finding how to go about keeping myself on the pedals. I have tried the holster(cage) type but fell. I was unable to remove my foot from the holster and just fell over. Breaking one of my prosthetics do to the twisting motion in the fall. Sucked real bad!
