It's nice to see a few more black characters in the show, other than just Abe "Hasn't Had A Plot Since 1987" Carver, and the similarly storyline-challenged Lexie. Salem is an odd sort of town when viewed in 2009. It seems to be peopled almost entirely by straight white people. It may also have been weirdly straight in 1993, but at least it managed to be slightly less white. And Jonah has plot! Not much of one just now, granted, but more than his poor brother ever seems to be given.
