@twiston123 indeed very true i hve only one rat a male, dad wont let me get wnother one :( he scent sometimes around my bed but its easy to clean :) u only smell it abit just move him out the room and spray some deodrant all done :)

Lol how could you watch this video and say rats are gross? They literally have the faintest odor EVER. Well, females do anyway. When I bathe mine, they smell like NOTHING after. They're odorless and only stink if you neglect changing their cage!

@hamsterngerbils Sometimes rats who haven't been well-socialized as babies grow up to be slightly fearful of humans, but they usually don't. I've never been REALLY bitten by a rat. Nothing worse than "Oops, I thought you were food :0" nibbles anyway, and those don't really hurt.

are your rats littler trained or do they poop/pee on your bed and carpet off camera? If they are trained how did you manage it??

rats generally only go to the toilet out of their cage through fear, mine dont do it when there playing on the floor because they are confident and always wait until they go back to their cages :)

they mustn't stay out of their cages very long then! how long can rats last?

Ive had my rats out of their cages for many hours with none of them going to the toilet, they will even sleep outside their cage when they become very comfortable with you :)
