  • it's definitely a Roach but it's not over 2lbs

  • @3SidedSquare

2 3/4 lb the weight is in her girth, one more week and she would probably be half that weight or less.

  • its a nice fish but its not a roach its a roach/brem hybrid. you can tell by the head and also the fins if it was a roach they would be a darker red.

  • @MayoBoys1

it sure is, we had all of our fish verified by the fisheries board that day pal. You can tell its a roach by the big red spot in the iris above and beside the pupil. Colors of the eye and fins can be very bleach however in some environments.

    Recession.

  • thats a nice fish but a netto job (fish in carier bag)

  • the density and compression of the eggs are also a contributing factor. A Roach this size any other time in the season might only weigh 1.5lb-2lb

  • i Also aggree, 100% roach.

    Nice fish, well done

  • that is indeed 100% roach, not a hybrid. and it´s a big one aswell! congrats from sweden.

  • lol a sainsburys bag, lol nice roach tho
