Chet recorded three versions (arrangements) of this beautiful tune. And today, I am going to post all three of the "three bells" so you can compare and see which one is your favorite.

This is version one..my personal favorite..

Enjoy!

  • Trying to compare the great Chet Atkins against himself is a pretty tall order. Im in my 50's now, and love this song as much as I did as a kid, back in the 60's. All 3 versions are great, but I think the 3rd version, makes an awesome and beautiful 2 step or slow dance, and I never considered this a dance song til I just heard it. Long live Chet. ♥♥♥

  • lol, ty Doug, you must be listening too. how sweet. Im just listening to some old songs and memories. I was originally looking for a song, Jim Ed Brown sang, was going to send it to my husband. But I couldnt find it, Its called " Your The Part of Me" , I have it on CD. For everything my husband means to me, the song fits him perfect.

  • I have a feeling after just reading other comments, Chet has passed on. Heaven is waiting for him and his guitar. :)
