  • @Ostmpeace

Are you kidding? Have you even tried this food? I ordered these samples and I can tell you that this food is MUCH tastier and MUCH healthier than any of that crap you mentioned, AND it lasts for over 25 years. That means you can have dinner in the year 2037 at 2012 prices.

Did you actually try to compare this food to McDonalds and Campbells???? Wow...

Btw try to find a McDonalds serving lunch during an emergency. Do yourself a favor and try the sample pack.

  • @guerrillarawfare4u

Mcdonalds/Soup was perspective on cost(I'd pref the soup)

One can purchase say the "Food For Health" or "Chef's Banquet" buckets for ~$100 shipped; ~$3.33/2100 calories. And free of the chemicals you may be worried about. That $9.95 covers you for about a day, maybe 2 depending on the Tuscan. It does show how totally AWFUL the Go Foods Global regular price is... $18-27/day figuring a little variety(2100 cal. remember) * 30 days = $540/$810.

  • @Ostmpeace I guess you have a point, if you want to have preservatives, pesticides (and who knows what else) from McDonalds, and BPA from the can soup and beans in your body - for even a few days. Sure calories matter, but putting in good food (you know what's in it and it's better than the average), with sufficient calories, good flavor at a reasonable price that doesn't compromise your family's health in the short and long term...I would say $9.95 is a DEAL!

  • It seems these products are not a very good deal, an avg man needs 2100+ calories a day. Gofoods own info:

Western Potato Chowder: 4 servings of 130 cal each (520) $9 reg.

Chicken cheddar rice: 4 servings of 262 cal each (1048) $9 reg.

Creamy Tuscan Pasta: 4 Servings No info. posted.. $9 reg.

Perspective 1 $1 McDouble(mcdonalds) or $1 campbells split peaw/ham is 400 calories; So even in this "free kit" for $9.95 shipping/handling would buy you 4000 calories elsewhere.

  • Good Vid - I'll be ordering soon - Thanks
