actually they're not horribly close but Intimate Note was completely staged. they are very close, there's just not a lot of translated scripts on them. They'd go fishing and riding on Kangin's bike a lot. Sungmin even watched over him when he would drink too much in their younger years.

i think they were considered awkard because everybody is literally like brothers together and I think it's only because these 2 were really the only pairing that didn't hang out together after their jobs or concerts
