  • America needs a New Deal..aftere 8 years of a republican raw deal...

  • Mr Moyers you are an outstanding journalist. I always enjoy listening to you and watch your program every week.

Please invite Ralph Nader to your program and allow people to hear his voice which is oppressed by the corporate owned media.

    with respect

  • The problem I think Obama's facing is that he hasn't tapped the Public in the way that Franklin did. President Obama said "Hope. Change. Yes we can!" And I find myself disappointed in President Obama. And I'm disappointed for the fact that I really was hoping for FDR 2.0. Roosevelt once said "I don't intend to hit every time I come to bat, but I intend to have the highest batting average." He wasn't afraid of mistakes. Honestly, I think President Obama needs to take that to heart...

  • Where have you gone FDR? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

  • "If only" we had another FDR.....

  • I don't understand why Barack Obama just doesn't present change, but like FDR, offer the American people a new deal. Why not compare the great challenges of the greatest generation, the WW2 generation, to the great challenges of our generation and call on our commitment not to our political parties or politicians, but rather our commitment to our nation and to eachother. I mean Obama should draw the connection to him and FDR by those times of desperate need for change and our need for change.
