This is the first of a two part video; first being the unboxing of the Contour Design ShuttlePro v.2 Jog / Shuttle controller. This is especially useful for video /audio editors as one can spool along the timeline with the jog / shuttle. Along with the extremely customizable buttons, editing with this is even more painless...

  • can i use it with the after effects? or 3dx max? comfortable with these programs please smo answer...

  • @hedende

It can be configured for After Effects and 3ds Max...

  • Been a while now man, having trouble finding time to do the review ?...

  • Yeah I have. Just wasted another week trying to recover from a fever with really bad cough and runny nose too...

  • Ah, that's awful, you're OK now ?. Health comes first as always and rightly so. You know I was wondering, did you grab yourself the full game of Killzone 2 yet ?. That game blew me away, the single player campaign was so much better than I thought it would be too and the multiplayer is phenomenal. Alot of people bitching about the aiming though, I just got used to it lol.

  • I'm still having a cough, and probably still sound a little nasal. But reviews are definitely coming, albeit a very long break this time round. Anyway, yeah, I've got myself Killzone 2. And I think I'm one of those who simply hates the controls... :-x

  • i have this device...it is a brilliant piece of kit...worth it if you can find it...

  • @VideoDoc In the software that allows the SuttlePro to function it has what seems like hundreds of templates already set for your to run it with almost any digital media geared software.

I customized my SP for usage with Photoshop, like picking tools, zooming in with the jog shuttle, etc. I even used it briefly to increase/decrease web browser font size.

I tend to think though that the device is much better suited for DAW/ProVID applications though just as that's its main design application.

  • So...where's the review?

  • My questions about the shuttle pro (which would come to the mind of any editor):

    1. How well does it work with the professional Avid Media Composer that runs on PC's?

    2. How well does it work with Adobe After Effects?

    3. Can someone use it for higher productivity in ANY program, even if not related to editing. Can I assign its buttons to functions in Adobe Photoshop for example, or to quickly lunch programs in windows?

    Thanks you very much.

    VideoDoc.

  • Yes, it does

  • could you please put a link to the review in the description because I don't see it. Thank you.

  • agreed, probably enter the uni there?
