Sharan Burrows, President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions was in Brisbane on the 19th of May campaigning for Paid Parental Leave. She took a moment to show her support for our campaign and to send a kiss to Julia. Sorry, the sound's not great - here's what she said:

"Hi Julia, Im in Queen Street Mall in Brisbane. I know that your championing of pay equity is second to none. The Community Sector workers absolutely are appreciative of your support for their campaign for pay justice, for pay equity for the rewards that they deserve for the incredible job they do in our communities. So Julia Im sending a kiss to you both to say thank you and make sure you keep up that level of support that we know is absolutely the centre of your approach to these issues."
