@SakoYo yeh it is stupid to change the rules but its because the japanese like to see and promote good judo ie stand stright upright more traditional style of judo and dont like the russian and eastern block countrys bent over more wrestling style of judo. it has nothing to do with safety

@SakoYo @SakoYo you've mis understood me totally. leg grabs can only be used in a combination ie you go for a ko uchi gari the opponent defends it so you turn it into a single leg take down for example. leg grabs can be also used as counter to say uchi mata. i use morote gari if my opponent reaches over my shoulder to grab my belt. because he is trying to grab the belt to throw me so im countering his attack with the morote gari.

@tyebo87 That's pretty stupid, because wouldn't it be much easier to counter a technique when it is used as a single attack as oppose to a combination. Besides the counter to a double or single leg takedown is very basic any ways, it's not like some unfair dangerous technique.

@SakoYo it is still allowed but it must be used in a combination or as a counter to an attack. its only illegal if used as a single attack.

Yea... nice work.... I use to go as well as my cousin. Back when before he moved to the place on Sunset + Normandie.... I went there for a few years then i left.. unfortunately.. I havn't ben able to find a sensai around my new area that's as close... JAN HAYASTAN #1!!! Halala kezi aper
