I can understand your feelings. But The last time I saw him "Hello Darlin" had charted. He began his show with Only Make Believe. He sang it until it got to the crescendo in the middle of the song. He stopped, the band stopped and Conway said, "Hello Darlin, nice to see you" The audience went wild. He did an hour and a half. When he finished his last song and it ended, guess what? He picked up Only make believe where he left it. Outstanding show. Still remember it all.

Always loved this song, Conway was my favorite singer till I went to see him live. This is the first time I listened to anything by him since. I was so mad cause he only sang one line to this song. Was a horrilbe concert as far as his singing. But it did make me a Ronnie McDowell fan!

Wow! Great! Why is he shaking the microphone though? I really would like to know.

Hi,
the microphone is a reciever of course so the sound level of your voice is affected by the mic's proximity to your mouth.
He's shaking the mic to achieve nuances in the dynamics of his voice as heard by us,the audience. That's what I think anyway.
