Mom locked up for cheering at child's graduation

Shannon Cooper cheered as her daughter walked across the stage to get her diploma from South Florence High School Saturday night, but just minutes later, Shannon was handcuffed and arrested.

That happen to our graduation 3 parents were arrested for cheering and then a fight broke out. It was a damn shame.

Top comment and old post. So just because a person has been arrested before makes them intelligible to cheer for their child at graduation? After all tax payers money do go to schools do they not? Cheering is not considered inappropriate at a party or celebration so why then is that right being taken away from parents who are so excited to see the result of their child's progress? Seems wrong to jail a person for this...total waste of more tax payers money.
