I've heard they're finishing at the start of December 2009 timetable change. Class 158 from then on. End of yet another era!!!

Not only on weekdays as I travelled on 1498 yesterday. (Sunday). Excellent as usual!!!

Only weekdays then? I suppose that makes sense as i would of thought there are spare trains at weekends

Thanks for the kind comments. The 3-CIGs only seem to work on weekdays. The latest I've heard for withdrawal is May 2010, due to the need for training Bournemouth Crews on the 158 unit.
