Yes, If you are going to jump from Rockmill, please be respectful of the Grist mill...Many hours of hard work and money is going into the restoration of this mill. Some punk azz kids were there last summer and me and 2 friends ran them off for throwing rocks into the windows. Its sad that fat, inbred, pieces of shit have to ruin the jumps for the rest of us. Most of them dont even jump anyways fucking pansies.

I have jumped from here many times. I have been told twice this summer to leave and not return by the fairfield county sheriff department. Its private property so technically they have no authority unless the landowner says otherwise. The water is pretty cold no matter what time u go. I Sheriff said to go back to Sugar Grove and told us to not come back lol.....

Anything that is displaced settles back in the hole eventually I guess is what I mean to say. My point is only that the hole doesn't become deeper because of their activities

Okay, they DISPLACE sediment, they DO NOT remove it from the riverbed! And the "ton of people doing picnics and riding a gator" were not random people, but rather the Annual Rock Mill Rally, which is a grass roots effort of the volunteers of Fairfield County Historical Parks to restore the historic grist mill. The old guy is the parks director. I've been a volunteer for 7 years and have also seen the dives for the past 3 years. This property belongs to the park. OPs cleans out the trash.

They do suck the sediment off the bottom. Last year we went to jump but they had a ton of people there doing picnics and riding a gator to the bottom where this old guy did a tour for them. The fire dept. was there and told us they did it twice a year I thought they were Farfield County but they had dive suits on and I never seen the trucks but they told us and we watched on an underwater video ca they had right there beside us they were removing trash and sucking the sediment up.
