Wow, I posted that message like, 2 years ago and it's gotten so many thumbs up.... And I still feel like everyone who visits this video have never watched the show nor the movie in their entire life. Maes Hughes and Gracia are in this because it is their Alternate-Universe copy. Edward Elric's and Alphonse Elric's Alternate-Universe copies died, and they-the Elrics-now take their places since being transported to the A-U. They are at the funeral for Alphonse's A-U copy. MAN.

@dgreeky You don't have to wear dark clothes at a funeral. A lot of cultures believe that a funeral is a celebration of a life and try to make it a beautiful thing rather than a somber remembrance. I'm guessing the Roma are a type to do this.

okay.....to put it straight, Alfons Hiedrik died. Alphonse Elric, Ed's brother DID NOT die. and we hope he never does.
well, he does die at least twice in it by first: when he looses his body and his soul is sent to the gate, but we all know (I hope) that Ed lost his arm by attaching his soul to a suit of armor. And then he dies by using the Philosophers Stone to bring Ed back to life. but of course, Ed was sent to the other side of the gate by bringing Al back.
