Yeah, I get that feeling too sometimes, but then I just tell myself that somebody has to be doing the job Charlie is doing, and he is doing it exceedingly well. Sure, he could drop it and grab a sign and go bash politicians over the head with it, but would his replacement be as qualified? Charlie's one of the best at what he does and it would be a shame for him to stop just so he can satisfy your definition of "be part of the solution".
Charlie is a huge part of the solution, IMO.

@drutter, yes, I do realize that, I absolutely do. And kudos to Charlie for doing that. I agree with everything he says. But after having listened to his videos for years now, I am just finding that it is directionless. I am always asking, okay, so now what, what's next? That is my only point. I genuinely wish you (and Charlie) peace and good will.

I hear what you're saying, but it seems that you're missing the fact that rallying people to a cause IS "doing something". Not everybody can be on the front lines 24/7. Somebody has to be educating, organizing, mobilizing, and encouraging. Without Charlie's efforts, there would be many thousands less people on the front lines. Please realize that.

Bush issued the initial warning that we're either with them or we're with the terrorists. Now we have draconian Patriot Act laws, and every day we see news stories about how police brutalize, tazer, shoot, and sometimes kill people who were non-violent, unarmed, and not breaking any laws, the police always get away with this behavior. A few people protesting here and there will just get them hurt or killed. We need charismatic leader(s) to focus the anger that will surely come.
