You could make the sage 'butter' w/ margarine. Just let the sage absorb in the cooked marg for awhile. No biggie.
What a great recipe!

i think 40 minutes at 350, basically it's fine if you over cook it, just need to blend it so doesn't really matter as long as it's fully cooked!

I used to have to pick butternut squash and blue hubbards as a kid on the farm, summer squash and those zuchinnie bastards. It was tough enough doing everything else alongside on the farm, that I boycotted squash.
Fool I was. I wonder if I will ever like beets. I have how'ed about a million feet of them bastards

Bruce is semi-retired these days, pursuing some of his other interests. He's still out there going strong, but Chef Mike C. is carrying the torch now for our 10th season of shows, leading the way to the next decade of quality Organic Living TV with the Hippy Gourmet!

Thanks for your comment.
You can spell it both ways actually, "hippie" is mostly used for plural.

In this video there are two versions - a vegan without dairy, and a vegetarian version which has butter. Thanks for watching!
