I decided to play some fiddle music in the car's CD player, and then get back on the curvy West Virginia road, letting it record all the curves and music. Hope you all like it.

  • can anyone tell me who's playing the music here?

  • Kenny Jackson, "No Corn on Tygart"

  • That's MY Barn....A friend called & told me about this video..Thank goodness the video was taken in July when everything is in full bloom and not now (December) when everything is so drab...I thought perhaps my Michigan Cousins did this since they like that music, but "not"....

  • thanks! I was in the area 'cause a friend was performing at the festival in Glenville. I went driving around and got this "great" idea to record music with the video while driving. :)

  • o come on these roads are straight for West Virginia lol :)

  • true... I was hoping that the song would have been longer and would have gotten to some of the curvier parts on this road... But the song ended and I couldn't find a place to pull over and do another video like this one. Ah well! :) Next time I'm in WV, maybe!

  • If nothing else WV is a fun place to drive through the roads are simple, and clear.

  • @jefferyb304 - And it is sad the story continues. WV - no jobs.

  • @cat102248 thats sooo true! i'm one

  • I'm surprised to find you here, Laura. Haven't seen any of your videos for quite some time, as I erased all of mine and went to live video, but now I'm back. I loved watching them in the past. I liked this for the movement, taking us along for the ride. I have roads like this in my part of the country, too, and love riding them, mostly via motorcycle. Best to you as always and hope you are well.

  • I hope you enjoyed the tour of the coal mine. I live about 12 miles from there. Mother was born in Dearborn in 1955. Her Dad worked for Ford at the time. Like many others from WV my Grandparents had to leave to find work.
