My children are all allergic to gluten, dairy, eggs, almonds, and a few other things. So, here's a video of my daughter, Madeleine and I making some gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free bread using Bob's Red Mill Hearty Whole Grain mix. It's not the prettiest bread, but it holds together well, is very healthy, and moist. It has a great texture for gluten free bread!

Thanks for watching! :)

  • what a good little helper you have :-) thanks for posting this I will try it .I recently found out I am allergic to Wheat .I am also vegan so I will try this .I sure have been missing bread .I only ate rye bread and boy do I miss it .Have found corn pasta which is really good and has a nice golden color but the breads I have tried, mostly rice have been pretty near uneatable. This however looks quite promising :-)

I hope you enjoy it! :) I'd love to hear what you think of it if you get around to trying this type of bread. :)

  • my wife is gluten intolerant and i am lactose intolerant

That is such a bummer! It seems to be getting more and more common. Either that or people are just becoming more aware of what is bothering their bodies. This bread was one of the most soft gluten free breads I've tried (but doesn't fall apart), although there is a flavor from one of the grains that tastes like rye. Nothing peanut butter and jelly didn't cover well enough for my kids, though. :)

  • No gluten? No dairy? That's harsh! Menu decisions must be a challenge!

I know it! I hope they grow out of these allergies... it's such a bummer for them! I have learned to cook for them and am pretty used to making two meals at once most of the time. :)

  • @AMomentWithRachael I avoid dairy and gluten, its poison anyway, fruits and veggies is where the nutrition is anyway, doctors and big Pharma want us sick! Great Vid!

  • @AMomentWithRachael you must have your work cut out cooking for all those allergies!
