RegiStax 6 release 2 April 2011
Just downloaded the new version and tested it.
Installation was very simple and no problem for Vista. Interface is simpler and more intuitive.
I had some problem with multi alignment in version 5. In RegiStax 6 it works as magic -- no issue. New function - Linked Wavelet Layers -- is great! Speed fantastic. This is major improvements which allow make more experimental settings and find best parameters for final image.

Thanks for RegiStax all people who created, develop and support it! It's amazing free product!

For Saturn observation I used Celestron 4Se telescope, Barlow 2x, NexImage.
Hope it video helps and gives you ideas what you can do with Registax.

  • Bei gutem Rohmaterial sehr Gut.

Zur Bereinigung der RGB Kanäle eignet sich FITSWORK ausgezeichnet.

  • @achimreinhardt Danke

  • what song is this? is from bach? or who? thanks :)

  • @2312yuyo Whiskey Priest "Saturn". The song also has some meaning for me. Orbital period of Saturn is 29.457 years (Saturn return period). “Saturn return” also is astrology term. It is described as influencing a person's life development at about 30-year intervals. About 30 years ago I started learn astrophotography, and now I am back to astro-photography.

  • Is there a way to make a readable version;I cannot read the letters in the frames, all contents are blurred!

    thanks

  • @patpdh1 Settings in this video are very close to setting in my other video "Jupiter 2010 Opposition". In Jupiter video I created subtitles, so you can see all settings very clear.
