  • 4:18 black is trying too much to enforce threat on c4, loosing tempo. Playing fast d4 would have gave to black advantage.

  • Towards the end why does black not play Bxe5?

  • a wanna have a piece of this genius^^

  • wow! amazing game!

  • a true classic game. I think it features in virtually every attacking book on chess :D

Thanks for the commentary as usual KC

  • WOW!

  • YES!!! 5:09 & 5:32 :) Keep up the great work KC! You really gave me back my enthusiasm for chess.

  • This version of commentary is the best that you can do. Makes people feel like you have something to say and it will be hard to get distracted from this the video! 5 Star

  • Besides being World Chess Champ. Emanuel Lasker was an excellent chess writer AND a mathematician. He published Lasker's Manual of Chess reprinted by Dover Books. The Dover edition used the older P-K4 notation. Not sure if it has been redone in algebraic. If I recall correctly, Lasker states in the introduction that anyone can master chess by following the Manual. His combative psychological warfare style was fearsome over the board. Great series on Lasker. TY KC.
