@dcrippen2000 It's a long time since you posted about Mary's "delivering" but it might be helpful to consider how each of us has a role in "delivering." Sure, without the Redemption wrought by Christ, there would be no ultimate deliverance, but under His saving work, each has his participatory contribution. If this be true for sinners, how much more so for the sinless Mother of God, who indeed, "delivered" from her virginal womb the Son of God Himself?

what do you mean by " deliver us from evil ".. Only Christ delivers us from evil. Mary is involved because of the grace of God, but she is not the one doing the delivering..

Yes, the prayer is actually, "By Thy Holy and Immaculate Conception, O Mary deliver us from evil."

The apparitions actually took place in ROME CITY, IN, not Rome, IN.
You can read all about the history of this wonderful place and the numerous healings and conversions that have been associated with OLOA and Rome City at Sylvan Springs. Do a webs search for Our Lady The Immaculate Virgin and visit their website for the info.

I do not want to contradict this wonderful priest, but I believe the prayer of Our Lady of America is this: By Thy Holy and Immaculate Conception, Oh Mary Deliver Us from Evil.
That is what is on the medal that was struck in honor of these apparitions.
Contact you local Bishop to promote this so we get Our Lady of America enshrined at the National Basilica.
She promised once this was done the healing miracles (especially those of conversion) would be greater then that of Lourdes!
