am not sure its realy creating exitment to funs or sponsors as car races do, or if it is beneficial to the advance of spaceflight technology and science...:(

to fuel these thing in reality would cost more than the stadium and advertising would bring in. each race would cost over a billion dollars. it'd be a huge waste of fuel even if they did do it...

@Crypt1cmyst1c Over a billion dollars? how do you figure that ? these are only small planes with a small rocket engine powered by liquid oxygen and ethanol on them not actual space craft. I've seen rocket powered trucks at air shows.

Virtual roads are nice.. if there every will be flight vehicles for traffic, virtual roads is the way, most likely autopilot.

it isnt a game, its a new vertion of F1, the prototype has already been built, its in cgi here to show the concept
