Clearly Mr.Turek never heard of Midi-chlorians. They are microscopic life-forms in Star Wars that reside within the cells of all living things and communicate with the Force. They are symbionts with all other living things and without them life could not exist. And more importantly....this idea is slightly more believable than the god of the bible.

@greatgulffixed said, "Turek has good arguments."
And what would those be?

@whole27 Nonreligious people such as Einstein did the one thing that your not supposed to do, divide by 0 in his equations so that it would make the universe static and eternal, because if it isn't static and eternal, then it had a beginning. Einstein had it instilled as a child that there wasn't a God. same thing, just a different viewpoint.

Cool it guys. Turek has good arguments.
He just doesn't have the impressive British accent to charm his audience into thinking that he's brilliant. :)

Listening to Frank Turek just ruined my day... his sheer arrogance.... aghhhhh

Frank's opener was actually pretty good, he hit on some points that are difficult to refute, but this just sounds like he's in church preeching to people. He went from fairly logical arguments, to using the bible of all things.

@chosenwarior You need to pick up a biology book instead of a theist's pseudo-science literature. Your understanding of evolution is grossly misguided. Furthermore, why don't we turn your own arguments on God? Take every one of your points and ask those same questions about God. WHERE DID GOD COME FROM? As for fossil proof... all I can do is laugh at your ignorant comment on that subject.
You sir would have believed in Zeus sitting on top of Mt Olympics if you were born in Ancient Greece.

@chosenwarior I apologise, I meant to link you /watch?v=PjcFSy1KCTI on the last post. Apparently your googling still amounted to nothing. Perhaps one day you'll understand. I don't mean to be condescending but your last message was 50% ignorance and 50% condescending so I thought I should at least partly reply in the same manner. Although to be honest I don't find being called 19 and British an insult.

@chosenwarior Funny how a supposedly 54 (and obviously senile) year old man asserts 'God did it' without any reason other than pure ignorance and at the same time completely missed the point of a rather simple video. I mean COMPLETELY missed what was being said. I won't refrain, you're a complete fucking idiot.
Turek sounds like a used car salesmen trying to sell christianity to the uninformed buyer.

Wow, this just goes to show how once you believe in something as religion which is instilled in you since birth by your parents, its hard to completely get rid of it so you constantly make excuses and try to fit new evidence into your bronze age beliefs like...yes the earth is going to be eaten up by the sun eventually..but maybe my god designed it to? We don't know his intentions so maybe that was it? A car designer or any designer intends on their product lasting as long as possible:)
