@rpe11 Uh, YES! At least it was, in my day (which was a while back...graduated in 1983). You see, back in my days of elementary education, we recited the Pledge of Alligence, every morning. And that was with, ".....under God,....." in it. I am sure, that if you are recently graduated, you likely were a member of "The Spies" or the "Youth League!" Also, if your history classes were like mine, you would be a proud member of your country, regardless of where it is. If not, you must sad.
