@22aucutt shut the fuck up. germany killed only 250,000 ppl in the camps, iam smarting and have a better IQ over you, i dont belive propaganda. now fuckoff. 15 million germans/japanese died in the savaging and brutal firebombing/atomic bombing campaign. you can kiss my ass now
-
@dividednation44 im not saying the germans werent a great military power(which they were) but you have to keep in mind that it was the french they were fighting. they fell in onl a couple weeks. and also how were the americans the savages when the germans are the one that killed over 6 million in brutal death camps. now thats what a savage is. also we were fighting for airpower throught the whole war and were just able to get it at the very end of the war.
-
@22aucutt easy? riiiiight the germans coulda protected heir lands from the savaging amerikans despite the fact that theres a giant russian hoard on the other side of germany. you can place explosive to blow up tracks but you dont seem to mention airforces AT ALL. the waffen SS knocked out divisions of french tanks solely using grenades and molotov cocktails. but on the other hand, hans ulrich rudel knocked out 512 tanks with his stuka. thats how air power wins
-
@dividednation44 also its very possible to defend against a big force with minimal man power. they spread out to cover more choke points, they picked the choke points very wisely, and is you stay on the move covering more ground, the enemy will think that there are more soldiers then there actually was. plus they were using their expllosive wisley, using them in uncommon places, using sticky bombs to blow off the tracks of tanks. next time use common sense before you post

@dividednation44 yes you are right! because we landed 17500 russian troops on the beach that! dumbass it was the americans. canadians, and brittish that landed on the beach. also the americans had no airsuppot our artilery support. so they were completely on their own. and once we pushed pass the pillboxes, the germans started surrenduring istantly. and also this was a real mission, they really did send out 5 guys to get ryan. look it up :)
-
@22aucutt real cowards? those germans on the beach were fighting massive hoards of russians on the other side of the globe, i love it how 9000 germans kept back a staggering 17500 while bieng hit from the sea and the air. thats called heroism.
-
@dividednation44 ya because they fucking gave us no god damn cover for over a 1000 feet. plus thy had about 5 mg42's locked on the beach's landing zone so they could just mow us down like no problem. the germans were he real cowards because once we got past the pillboxes they started to surrender. also i think it would be easy to take a lot casualties when your enemy has no cover, cant shoot back, and every one is being blown up by mines.

typical hollywood, bunch of cowaring yanks win the war by themselves and the germans look like the bad guys who had more numbers
but trust me, if this was real life, those few yanks would've had atleast 5 tanks and 120 men fighting against 1 german tank and 40 german dudes.
D-day was german owning, they were outnumbered, unsupported and hugely lacking petrol and air support, got attacked by quarter million amerikans, but they killed 3 times more then they had lost, look it up
