RAF VC10 XV104 engine run ups Vancouver March 2/11 with fabulous Conway engine sounds!

Purchase this DVD from www.AirlineHobby.com DVDs: In early March, 2011, we were blessed to have RAF VC10 C1K XV104 in Vancouver for a week of maintenance. It was too cold to perform the work in Calgary so the aircraft crew positioned to the warmer climes of Vancouver so the crews could work outside in relative comfort. This is probably the last visit of a VC10 to Vancouver, the last being in August of 2004. A very special thank you to the RAF and crew of the VC10 for their kind help in making this filming possible. Hello A .. When possible I always strive to include the people involved .. as it makes for a lot more interesting video than just the aircraft. The trick is to film in the least obtrusive manner possible. Having you all here was fantastic .. !!! I very much appreciate Gary B's help. The VC10 is such a special aircraft ... it needs to be documented as much as possible .. while we can. Please let me know when the DVD safely arrives. I posted it yesterday. Cheers, HT

Was there a failure on the way to Calgary?. I don't understand why they would do a weeks maintainance in Canada when Brize Norton is only 8 ish hours away...... hope the crew had fun in Vancouver .

Just want to let everyone know that the man standing on the engine mount is perfectly safe. His giant brass balls are weighing him down preventing him from being sucked in. LOL.
