  • Beautiful music indeed! Bravo!

  • Yes, I think this is definetly one of the most beautiful pieces ever written. This movement in particular always brings tears.

  • Hopefully they are tears of joy! Merry Xmas!

  • For sure! Merry Christmas!

  • This piece illustrates everything I love about the baroque: a crescent flow of emotions that reaches its height by the end of the music...

...without one having to adjust the volume several times along the way, like it happens with the music from the classical period!

    One word: superb! :)

  • Heard this piece music on Master and Commander. Really beautiful, thanks for the upload.

  • @alexvlk I fully agree with your view: Baroque music is much better than Baroque art!

  • How could the gaudiness of Baroque art produce such subdued music? Wonderful.

  • @Jumpergem I'm pretty sure he meant "play it", as in put the music on and listen to it.

  • @Xsilord This music is really hard to play, because you have to totally readjust your ear to 415, instead of 440. That is a half step down from the tuning of most modern violins. They also are using gut strings and baroque bows, also very hard to master.

  • or am i learnig this?

  • Sure you're entitled to your opinion....but why would you vote this down? and how is this dislikable?....

  • who is this one ignorant moron who voted thumbs down?!

    the best music ever!

  • This movement... especially the fast part... gives me hope.
