The Rothwell Hellbender Overdrive Pedal is a new pedal here at PGS just in from the UK. It creates a touch responsive dynamic distortion that covers the full range from mild to wild saturated lead tones. Pack that all into a sharp looking polished case and you have a great new overdrive pedal.

The Rothwell Hellbender Overdrive Pedal features a pretty simple layout knob wise featuring Volume, Tone and Gain. This guitar pedal is different in that it has more than one stage of distortion and more than one distortion mechanism. What this does is give you a more realistic tube tone without the tubes. Add the fact that the Rothwell Hellbender Overdrive has a very high output and this pedal can act as a excellent clean boost. Truly one of the finest overdrive pedals we carry, check out the new Rothwell Hellbender Overdrive today.

  • You do great demos, but wheres the treble?! Your tone is always so dark!

  • @bigfish0804 - Repeated exposure to loud rock music has been known to result in high frequency hearing loss.

  • This pedal's tone totally kicks you in the nuts! :22

  • Thats what imtalking about!!

  • @blueleadguitar The TSL has more than enough gain by itself for classic rock.

  • RHCP

  • @jnagengast How was band practice volume? I'm thinking of getting one too, as my band plays Classic Rock covers. I already have a Marshall TSL 122, but sometimes need that extra push

  • Thank you Andy, I'm recieving in my Hellbender tomorrow, your videos convinced me to pull the trigger on one. My current (and longtime) favorite overdrive is a Landgraff Dynamic Overdrive which I LOVE, yet I don't believe I hear the classic Marshall tones in it as I do with the Rothwell. Will be fun using them together, I believe the Hellbender will be my baseline rhythm tone then I'll add in the Landgraff for lead sustain. Perhaps I'll post up my own "Smackdown" vid of them.

  • Literally, just picked one up in your store today, LOVE IT!!! And I've learned it stacks surprisingly well with my Multidrive!! You guys should experiment, you'll enjoy what you hear!!

  • I think I like the articulation. Clean when OD off perfect beautiful Fender then back to Hellbender world.

  • @GameLevelEditor The DRRI is soooooooo apples to Oranges TT pears.... way different. DRRI is bright clear, articulate, the Orange is warm, fat and fruity (ooer). Yuo need to decide what flavour you want as pedals will sound very different between the two bro.
