Jason does Kendo (剣道）- Part Two

You can tell after watching this how long it had been since I'd done proper kendo - I was so rusty and forgot a few basics. I was going slow to show the camera how it's done - cuz the sensei go so fast - but you can see how light-on-their-feet 13 and 14 year olds would simply OWN me in a match. :)

by the way I was thinking, don't you think kendo armor resembles a bit to the grim ripper's clothes ?

hai hai and that is because you must respect your sword even if it's a bamboo sword, touching the tip of a katana would damage it's tip therefore you would not care for it, that's the explanation ^^, but sometimes it happens, for example after strong tsuki, it's not that big of a deal unless it's on purpose
