The autopsy of President John F. Kennedy was performed, beginning at about 8 p.m. and ending at about midnight EST, on Nov. 22, 1963, http://secretsofthecia.blogspot.com/ the day of his assassination, at the then Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. The choice of autopsy hospital in the Washington, D.C. area was made at the request of Mrs. Kennedy, on the basis that John F. Kennedy had been a naval officer.

In 1963, Texas law required that the autopsy of a person murdered in Texas was to be conducted in Texas, unless the murder occurred in places owned, possessed, or controlled by the U.S. government. Thus, the murder and subsequent medical examination of President Kennedy was legally under the sole jurisdiction of the State of Texas. Texas law required an inquest by a justice of the peace for all homicides, and then, if ordered, an autopsy. Dr. Earl Rose, the Dallas County medical examiner, attempted to enforce this law as the Secret Service was removing President Kennedy's body from Parkland Memorial Hospital for immediate return to Washington, D.C. with Jacqueline Kennedy and President Lyndon B. Johnson. A justice of the peace arrived to support Dr. Rose, but the Dallas County district attorney, Henry Wade, told the justice in a telephone call that he had no objection to the removal of the president's body.

The death certificate, signed by the President's personal physician Dr. Burkley, an Admiral in the U.S. Navy, gave a location for the back wound lower than found by the later autopsy (either its photographs or measurements). Dr. Burkley believed a bullet to have hit Kennedy at "about" the level of the third thoracic vertebra. Supporting the location of Dr. Burkley is a diagram from the autopsy report of Kennedy, which shows a bullet hole in the upper back. However, this diagram is freehand, and not drawn with any attention to landmarks — a criticism made of it by the later HSCA analysis.

Burkley's location at T3 is also about the same location of the bullet hole in the President's shirt and the bullet hole in the suit jacket worn by Kennedy which show bullet holes between 5 and 6 inches below the top of Kennedy's collar. However, again there has been controversy on the matter of whether or not the holes in the president's clothing should be expected to correspond to the location of his back wound, since he was sitting with a raised arm at the time of the assassination, and multiple photographs taken of the motorcade show his suit jacket bunched at the back of his neck and shoulder, so that it did not lie closely against his skin.

John Kennedy was killed in Texas for a reason the reason was OIL Kennedy would not take a bribe. Johnson had him killed.In texas for a reason to show the world the power he had..This proves the Warren report is false .Oswalt wss a part of this but he did not do this by himself...Jack Ruby killed oswalt to keep him quiet..They knew he would talk...

If the back wound came from atop the TSBD with the angle being 45 to 60 degrees downward then how could an entry wound at T3 come out below the Thyroidal notch? He just disproved his own theory. Using his discription of the wounds the shot would have had to come at a flater angle than the roof or even the 6th floor. I hate sloppy conspiracy theorists.

@CptKennyLoggins what also doesn't make any sense at all is the fact that not one single word from oswalds interrogation was recorded! when you kill someone, your conversation with the police will definitely be recorded. when you kill the president, you SHOULD be recorded with every brand of recorder ever made!! the only explanation is that the Dallas police department was told not to record anything oswald said out of fear that he might name some names. ruby permanently sealed oswalds lips.

There's no Q that was his plan. If we assume he was mentally stable, it seems a bit odd he'd make it to Cuba, but if we speculate by his actions that he was nuerotic or a bit delusional (aren't we all?) everything falls into place in light of his comment to Marina after the Gen. Walker attempted shooting when the news reported that a car was seen leaving the alley way after he fired the shot & police were searching for it
