Storytelling is a vital part of human society.

Throughout history, we have used the latest advances in technology to change the way that we interact with each other. The invention of photography was no different.

With the digitisation of the photographic industry, and the convergence of different technologies, the 21st century has seen a rapid change in the way that people relate to one another. We no longer have to be restricted in the times and places that we can interact with others.

The Internet, social networks and ubiquitous camera technology combine to allow us to record our lives and share them with anybody, at any time. What effect this will have on human relationships is still unclear, but if history is anything to go by, we'll make it through quite well.
