This was taken back in November of '08. This is Dad's 76 F250 Highboy that has a 390FE (Best motor built) that is pretty much stock which has around 265hp. It still has the factory 2bbl carb and it has a single 2 1/2 burnt out glasspack. Oh and the date this video was taken, the air cleaner lid was flipped, so you can really hear that carb roar but not as much as a 4bbl. It also has the New Process 435 with 4:11 rears.

  • I wasn't sure what my 77 had for the engine, but now I believe it's the same as your 390FE 2bbl. Process 205 tranny too I think. DIdn't know exactly what motor it had, but it's all factory. Original interior and original seat. Condition is almost like new in the cab. I love it.

  • @budriusnathan22 well 1976 was the last year for the FE series (352, 360, 390...) so you could of have anything from a 302 to a 460

  • Where did the replacement bed come from I want one

  • @driven420 I think it was custom made, it came with the truck so i have no idea where it came from.

  • I say its time for the BS flag on the miliage. I owned a F-250 w/4.10 gears. It got 11 going up hill, down hill, pulling or emply.

  • @leftey655 Keep in mind this is doing 60 on the freeway, any higher than that it will drop dramatically

  • we used my 77 f250 to pull 300 bushel of wheat to the elevator during harvest

    300 @ 60# a bushel , thats 18000#.... never drove over 40 mph though

  • I keep coming back to hear this...

  • were did you get the gooseneck hitch for the truck

  • @Hotrodx199 To each his own. EFI isn't bad but then again i grew up on computers, and repair them for a living so its nothing new to me.
