thankyou very much, i was going to use turnbuckles as they are cheeper but now u mension it a hand winch would work better.

Thanks DM1 - It's portable hand winch for pulling vehicles out of bogs and stuff - 1.5 tonne 11mm diameter cable. Called a Turfor or Looper winch in Australia. It's tensioned between two trees. Could also just use cable and turnbuckles if you wanted.
