Shan Phillips, a telecom practice vice-president for Nielsen China, says China Unicom's iPhone will not win a sizable market share, but will benefit the Unicom brand as a whole via a "halo effect." Phillips says the phone is too expensive and its app offerings too few at this point for it to steal any significant market share from other phones.
