This beer used to be sold exclusively on tap at Dieu du Ciel! brewpub in Montreal. Now it has been finally released in bottles, with a higher abv. Everything I wished for in dry and chocolate stouts comes to reality in this amazing DDC brew.

Jay, this one is to you!

  • You know a video is good when you hear you name mentioned within the first 10 seconds or so!

We were finally able to get this here in New York. I thought it was great, but I've had other chocolate stouts that I've liked better. I didn't get any vanilla and maybe just a touch of bourbon flavor. Be sure to check out my review of it.

How much did it cost you? It was $6.29 a bottle here.

  • @Chad9976 I agree, I've also had better chocolate and milk stouts, even though this one is still good. This bottle was around $2-3 in Montreal, probably cheaper in a 6-pack.... I'll check out your review in the nearest future!

  • If they ever distribute down here, I will gladly pick one up. Although since they only just started bottling, I may have to wait a while, haha. I'm a big fan of stouts and porters, especially O'hara's for dry stout. Nicely done, Denis. And thanks for the nod (even if it was an afterthought, haha)

  • Heh, sorry, I filmed this before your video came out...

  • Ohara's is an amazing stout! I should review that one as well!

  • Chocalate and vanilla this sounds delicious, I can't wait to try it! I like the transition into the grading 1-10 grading system!

  • No worries, bro. I missed the deadline anyhow.
