Ram is an album by Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, released in 1971, the only album credited to the pair. It was the second of the two albums McCartney released between leaving The Beatles and forming Wings. Future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell plays on the record, alongside the McCartneys and session musicians.
Three singles were released from the album - the American #1 hit "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey", the minor British hit "The Back Seat of My Car" and "Eat at Home", which was not released in either the United Kingdom or the United States.

I don't know how he does it. He's 70 YO. Does 3 hr concerts, he does all the singing I'm sure. I saw Wings in 76 and Denny & Jimmy sang a couple of songs anyway. Concerts were about an hour & 1/2 in them good ole days.
Not to mention, Paul is touring all the time. He was on SNL last night. Amazing!

It's quite interesting that Lennons quotes about him hating McCartney's music come from the era when they were bitching at each other. I think a lot of it was due to that, rather than Lennon actually disliking the music.

It's disgusting that I come on here trying to listen to a Paul McCartney song and I have to sit through a Taylor Swift ad first. yes, Youtube. I know who Taylor Swift is. Thank you for trying to sell me this generation's shitty excuses for musicians. Why do you think I'm coming on here to listen to real talent like Paul McCartney in the first place?

Um... what? Lennon loved this song so much he wanted to play it when he was a guest DJ on some radio show in 1974 (I think) - look it up, it's on youtube somewhere. Also, this is not one of Paul's "light" songs at all,. WTF man? It's basically Tom Waits cca 1985. Or Man Man. Best Beatle solo song ever, if you ask me. Nothing Lennon did post-1970 can touch this.

I personally love Paul's "light" songs like this one. But I'm sure when Lennon first heard this, he P-U-K-E-D.

Put any of those thick drama blues lyrics from a deep south songwriter and you get a huge rock hit. Amazing tune, nicely put up and sang.

How do you sleep and I found put are good songs, but not the kind of songs Lennon would normally write. Even Paul wrote a few bad songs, every celebrity does.
