Sea of Fears - From Weikath's school band (SAS). This song can be considered the embryo of the style created by Helloween musicians, especially Hansen and Weikath.

Lyrics:

SEA of FEARS

A lot of things occur all day
We've got to live with on our way
There's so much misery on the screen
With commercials in between

And the Russians won't be so late
Uncle Sam don't wanna wait
No matter if you're black or white
You never ever had a right

So won't you take me in your arms
And show me sympathy
I Know you won't do me any harm
And help me not to see

[Chorus]
How many tears flow away
To become a sea of fears
How many hearts torn apart
And another torment starts

But before the world
Will turn into a sun
Every cruelty and violence
On earth is dead and gone

In other lands the children die
Lacking food ill from a fly
Oppressed by troops to tame their land
It's all the same again

If every man is free on earth
Then the triggers feeds his birth
They slam gun butts into his face
And leave his woman in the haze

So let me take you in my arms
I'll show you sympathy
You know I won't do you any harm
And help you not to see

CHORUS

(I'm not a native speaker, so I'm sorry for any mistake =D)

  • This song has been recorded with Weiki`s School-Band "SAS" ( Sankt-Ansgar-Schule ) in the middle of September 1984 at the "Try Harder Studio" (Owner: Peter Harder) near the TV-Tower in Hamburg-Eimsbüttel. This Band worked together since Summer 1981 and had their last Performance in 1996 at the "Fischauktionshalle" in Hamburg Altona (50th School-Aniversary).

"How many tears" has been recorded and mixed with another four songs within a weekend!!!
