http://www.greatplanes.com The YAK 54 is a favorite among 3D pilots, and this 25% ARF model captures every nuance of the Unlimited Class competitor. Put yourself at the controls, and experience the thrills of performing precision maneuvers with ease and attitude! The perfect combination of light weight and "in-flight" durability, the YAK 54 is an excellent sport flyer — but also capable of any 3D and IMAC aerobatic maneuver you can think of.

I bought this plane and put the dle55 in it with a xoar prop all I have to say is wow! I love it. The quality of this plane is incredible for the price. Because I over powered it, I reinforced the firewall where the engine mounts to with 1/2 inch ply... Even with the dle55 on it, the plane was very tail hevy so make sure to glue and screw down the waits after balancing. My you tube videos can be found on rc pilots online. Go check it out along with my pictures. I'm glad I bought the plane.

I can't even imagine operating any R/C with electric......The gas makes it realistic....

Gas engine, for my is the best option!

Forget electric, such a let down, no fury of sound, no smell of fuel, boo, plus I don't think they move through the air realistically with electric, because they're too light(yes a plane can be too light). I can tell on silent video which is gas or electric by the way the plane moves.

if i were you i'd use the eflite power 160 brushless. it has the exact same power as a 1.60 2 stroke engine and its very good quality.
