Nice pinching. It looks like you were starting to get the 35s to "float" as well, keep trying-you might want to try some negatives and/or use your off-hand for minimal assistance on the thumb side.
Yes, that will work. You' can hold it at the top and then gradually let go with the other hand until you feel it slipping. You'll get stronger quickly.
Once you can break it off the ground even an inch with one hand, a full lift is not too far away.

How do you do negatives with pinching? Like grip with both hands and slowly let go with one?
