Hands:

Gen1 Sideswipe: forms from inside the door

Gen1 Jazz/Prowl: Unfolds from hood

Legs:

Gen1 Sideswipe: forms from the rear end (engine) of the lamborghini

Gen1 Jazz/Prowl: forms by rotating 90deg from rear end of the car and flips around by rotating at waist.

The video transformation conforms more to the Jazz/Prowl design.

@thirtysilver Actually that transformation design is used by Jazz, Prowl and a few other Autobots, but Sideswipe used a slightly different design.

It did not rotate at the waist as did Jazz and Prowl and the bonnet / hood of the car rotates at two joints to go 180deg, forming the chest/torso.

For Jazz/Prowl Tx design, the hood rotates only 90 deg, as did the one in the video.
