The audio is the only big technical issue I'm noticing

Quite cool. The only problem is that I have a hard time focusing on the story when I know how much detail went into symbolism and detail. Based on your film analysis I just know there's tons of stuff to find in every shot so I'm always looking. There are lots of possible meanings but the only theme I am finding is the cigarettes and references to burning, and never seeing the lighter's fire. Might be I'm looking too hard, but if I'm right, Scar-faced guy is prolly gonna be feelin more burns

i like it-the hunours' very black, and it's extremely effective! :)

Man, with larger budget this could become a great cult film.

Is it just me, or the first time he lights the lighter, it looks like a switch blade.

The script for this short was actually an excerpt from a feature length version which I'd love to make. The next time I make a film it'll be feature length and most likely self-financed to maintain creative control. It'll be at least six months before I can afford it though.
